Feelin' a little crafty lately

I've been quite busy at the sewing machine lately. I am so excited that I have figured out how to make dresses without a pattern.

 I made this dress for a special young lady 

whose family is moving to Africa in just a few short weeks.

These are Danica's newest dresses

Now if I just figure out how to make curtains, I would be so happy. 

I made this simple valance (actually, I made two - one for each window) 

from Danica's toddler bed sheets 

(which she no longer uses because she's got quite the big girl bed).
