Kids say the darndest things!

Just the other day, I was talking with Danica and she obviously wasn't listening very well. So I asked, "Danica, did you hear what Mommy said?" She replies, "Yes, I heard you and I was listening. But Mommy, sometimes it just goes in one ear and falls out."
"How does that happen, Danica?" I asked.
"I don't really know, but it does. Now what did you say?" She sticks her fingers in both ears and says, "I'm going to make sure it stays in this time!"
Of course, I don't even remember what I said at this point. Matthew and I were laughing hysterically. I love her!
