An Official Visit from the Tooth Fairy

Danica lost her first tooth on Monday while she was at school.

But because she was afraid, she didn't want to put it under her pillow that night. I asked her why she was so afraid. She said she didn't want the tooth fairy to take her tooth and she didn't want her the tooth fairy to turn her tooth into anything else (like a stuffed animal or money). (It's not that easy though. She was expecting something from the tooth fairy, she just didn't know what. She had heard that some of her friends got money, stuffed animals, and even real animals?!?!?! Sorry, Princess. No fairy that visits this house will be leaving real animals.)
So I told her we could write a note before bedtime on Tuesday night and ask the tooth fairy to not take her tooth. So that's just what we did.

And we put the note and her tooth under her pillow and Danica went to sleep.

When she woke up this morning, she was surprised by what she found.

$1 AND her tooth!
