Breakfast conversations

This morning's breakfast topic: Halloween and Christmas
Elliott says, "We don't go to school on Halloween because it's a holiday, right, Mommy?"
"No, Elliott. Halloween is not one of those holidays that people don't go to school. It falls on a weekday this year. There are "special" holidays that we observe - you don't have to go to school on those days and Daddy doesn't have to go to work - like Thanksgiving Day and Christmas."
Elliott says, "Oh yeah. We can dress up and sing Jingle Bells and do the limbo for Christmas because it's Jesus' birthday! Christmas is just two days away!!!"
I think he's combining all sorts of holidays. Just making sure it's all covered.
